Faith Presbyterian Church

Presbyterian Women

Faith Presbyterian Church – Pasadena, TX has a very active and dedicated group of women.  They meet at the church every Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
On the first Wednesday of the month they have Circle Meeting that begins with Bible Study, then a short business meeting to plan for church activities and projects.
Throughout the year the women work on projects.

The 106 pressure point pillows made in 2007 by the women of the Church
from scrap cotton materials and stuffed with cut up panty hose.
The pillows are then distributed to Bayshore Hospital for cancer patients,
    and to local nursing homes.

Our church holds a rummage sale once a year.

Some of our women make banners to commemorate the liturgical seasons of the year.

Our church saves grocery store coupons: the ladies cut them out
and send to servicemen’s families over seas.

We dress the sanctuary for Advent and Christmas.

We collect items during the year to fill 25 shoe boxes.
Example: shampoo, tooth paste, shaving cream, small note pads
We wrap the boxes in Christmas paper and take them to
the Port of Houston Seamen’s Center.

Our church supports New Hope (a home for recovering alcoholics),
We collect personal items and make Christmas gift bags,
and deliver them to the women in New Hope.
Our church collects food three times a year for New Hope.
We are friendly caring people, come and join us.
